Klingt gut. Der Kunde bestellt sich das Teil und erhält wohl eine GUI, wo er seine Daten eingibt und das Skript kopiert alle Daten auf seinen FTP. Ich schätze mal, daß es so abläuft. Das Problem ist wohl, daß der Nutzer mir auch dahingehend vertraut und seine Daten preisgibt. An ein "Autoupdate" dachte ich auch schon. Das Problem ist aber mehr auf "Client-Seite", da die Zugriffsrechte der Dateien korrekt gesetzt sein müssen. Im ungünstigsten Fall Schreibrecht für alle und das ist absolut nicht mit meinem Verständnis von Sicherheit vereinbar. Fazit: Nettes Feature, aber mir stößt es, wenn man es so lößt wie ich es mir denke, sauer auf.

Mal ganz ehrlich: Wer ist denn bitte zu faul seine Zeitzone einzustellen, wenn man gleich bei der Registrierung (so wie beim tbf2) danach gefragt wird? Eigenes Zeitformat kann man mit date() auch machen. Mein Besucher muß dafür nur zwei Minuten Zeit mitbringen und die Manualseite im PHP-Handbuch lesen. Dafür gefällt mir, daß man berechnet wie lange ein Beitrag alt ist. Vielleicht baue ich sowas auch ein :-)

Ein Wörterbuch steht auch auf der TODO-List bei phpBB 2.2 und auch ich habe es mir daraufhin mal durch den Kopf gehen lassen. Jedenfalls muß schonmal der ispell-Support beim Server da sein. Ich werde das auf jeden Fall auch mal probieren und wenn es mir nur dahingehend nützt, etwas mehr an PHP zu lernen - ispell macht bestimmt nicht jeder. Was mir aber gegen den Strich geht, ist, daß es wohl nur im MSIE geht. Wenn dann will ich eine Lösung, die bei allen geht. Aber so wie ich Foren bisher kennen gelernt habe, achten die wenigsten auf Rechtschreibung. Außer natürlich diese Dauerquengler, die jeden Fehler penibelst bei anderen ankreiden :mad2:

Ja, darüber ärgere ich mich oft in anderen und meinem Forum. Deshalb suche auch ich hier nach Lösungen. Ich denke mit dem Sessionsupport in tbf2 wird man hier etwas elegantes zaubern können :-)

Usabilitymäßig natürlich eine Toplösung :daumen: Popup- oder Kontextfenster an den bestimmten Stellen erinnern an ihr Betriebssystem (Windows-GUI oder X-Server) und sind "bewährt". Da muß ich sagen, daß ich von sowas begeistert bin und bisher nicht auf die Idee gekommen bin. Liegt auch wahrscheinlich daran, daß man bestimmt für jeden Browser eigene Codehäppchen schreiben muß. So Spielereien mit Layer oder Popups sind mir etwas fremd.

Aber letztendlich ist es eine Art "Userbewertung" nur einen Schritt weitergedacht.

Mir macht folgendes Sorge: "has no minimum word length limit". Das spielt eindeutig auf die Volltext-Suche bei MySQL an. Aber wenn die selbst kleinste Fitzelchen indexieren, wird der Index groß und zwangsläufig später behäbig. Eine eigene Suchlösung mit z.B. "LIKE '%a%'" ist auch deutlich langsamer als eine Volltextsuche. Aber ich weiß nicht, welches System sie genau nutzen!

Jap. Genau sowas habe ich in Planung. Gruppenrechte mit gesonderten zusätzlichen ACLs, wie man sie aus tbf 1.7 kennt. Das einzige, was mir Kopfschmerzen macht, ist eine gute, verständliche GUI dafür :-D

An auskunftsfreudigere Statistiken habe ich auch gedacht. Mein bisheriges System mit der Lastanalyse soll weiter ausgebaut werden. Mit der Anbindung an MySQL wird das auch flotter gehen als mit Textdateien, die geparsed werden müssen.

Ja, okay. Das müssen sich viele, auch ich, noch ankreiden, daß die Integration nicht gerade gut ist. Aber da ich das kommende tbf 2 mit meiner Seite stark verschmelzen will, wäre ich auch nicht umhin gekommen darüber nachzudenken. Und dann kann man auch gleich eine Lösing bauen, die bei allen funktioniert :-)
NOCHMALS: Ich habe das Forum weder gekauft noch konplett gesehen. Es ist nicht meine Absicht es schlecht zu machen oder zu reden. So mancher mag das jetzt vielleicht denken und vielleicht ankreiden. Aber ich gebe nur meine Meinungen zu den einzelnen Features wieder.
Wünscht Ihr Euch auch irgendwas davon im Talkboard Forum 2? Oder habt Ihr noch ganz andere, tolle Ideen und Wünsche?
